Sean Perryman, the 1st VP of the Fairfax County NAACP, is angered and disappointed that Gov. Ralph Northam and others have not reached out to the NAACP or other organizations for people of color after the February blackface photo scandal. “We reached out and got no answer,” said Perryman. “We continue to work for these politicians, phone-calling, door-knocking fund-raising. But they just take us for granted.”
