    flooding is occurring and is expected to continue.For the Chowan
    Basin...including Stony Creek...Moderate flooding is occurring and
    river levels are forecasted to decrease.

    begin to flood.

    * At 1122 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
    that heavy rain has fallen over the area. Two to four inches of
    rain have fallen. The rain has ended, but flooding is still
    expected along area streams and creeks due to runoff from earlier
    heavy rain.

    Richmond, Petersburg, Dinwiddie, Hopewell, Colonial Heights,
    Disputanta, Fort Lee, Virginia State University, Chester, Prince
    George, Bensley, Bellwood, Burrowsville, Garysville, Matoaca,

    At 946 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rainfall is exiting the
    warned area. Three to four inches of rain has fallen across much of
    the warned area, but rainfall will end soon, and the threat for
    flooding is diminishing.

    Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Princess Anne, Back Bay, Knotts Island,
