— Perry Spring, a “Life” scout in Boy Scout Troop 1100, at Nativity Church in Burke completed his Eagle Scout Service Project by leading his Troop in rebuilding the entranceway planter boxes at the newly renovated Pohick Library on Sydenstricker Road. More than thirty scouts from Troop 1100 worked throughout the day to complete this project. The service project included removing the old plantings and deconstructing the planter boxes. The Scouts then cut the lumber and rebuilt new planter boxes. The planter box areas are now ready for fresh new plantings that will be planted to beautify the entranceway to the new library.
